Michigan lands Lamphere High School senior wide receiver James Rogers

C & G reports that Lamphere H.S. senior wide receiver James Rogers has verbally committed to the University of Michigan.

The Lamphere co-captain entered the [Michigan football] camp along with some 2,000 of the finest talents in America, including the Wolverines’ No. 1 recruit, quarterback Ryan Mallett, out of Texas.

With pass after pass, it was Mallett to Rogers, who outworked other receivers and burned many a defensive back with the help of his 4.3 second, 40-yard dash speed.

Sounds like there are more exciting times to come in A Squared.
